Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on both your Android Device and the Pocketjet printer. You will need to pair your Android device to your Brother printer. For instructions on pairing the device, click here.
1. Download the Brother iPrint and Scan app from the Google Play store.
2. Open Brother iPrint and Scan .
If you are installing iPrint & Scan for the first time, you may get a permissions prompt. Tap Allow to continue.
3. Select Your Machine by tapping on the bottom banner labeled “ No Device selected ”.
If you have already installed iPrint & Scan for another Brother machine, the model number will be displayed. Tap this banner to discover your Brother PocketJet.
4. Tap the Bluetooth Icon. iPrint & Scan will search for Bluetooth capable machines. Tap the model number of your Pocketjet machine. The device is now selected.
If the machine is not listed or if you have an error message while trying to select the machine:
- Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on the Pocketjet
-Try turning the Pocketjet off, then back on
-Try Unpairing the device under Android’s Settings app > Bluetooth. After Unpairing, Pair it and try it again.
-Try rebooting your Android device.
5. Tap Print. Tap the desired Print selection.
6. Upon selecting your choice, a Preview will appear. Tap Print Preview .
7. A Preview of the page(s) will appear. You can uncheck pages that you do not want to print.
8. To edit any of the Print options, tap the Gear icon. Select the desired choices then tap the Back button.
9. When ready to print, tap Print .
